Testing Categories
1. Components Test
The components test is categorized as the type selection test and the alternative test, which can serve as a basis for the type selection and the substitutes. It covers SPEAKER, RECEIVER, MIC, motor, charger, battery, earphone, DOME, side switch FPC, data line, camera, rotating shaft, FPC, etc. mainly intended to investigate the degree of adaptability of components and structure, the performances of device functions, as well as the corresponding fatigue test.
2. Conventional Test for PCBA/Complete Machine
The conventional test for PCBA/complete machine is conducted during the completion of change of production line, mainly intended to investigate the quality of PCBA patching, the electric specification of radio frequency and base band, as well as the reliability. The conventional test for the PCBA/complete machine include:
◆Radio frequency performance conduction/coupling test
◆Base band performance test
◆ Reliability test
The production test mainly includes software writing for production, clamp making for production, testing line setting up, successful change of production lines, training and handover of production technology.
3. Software Test
The software test is conducted on the stage of cell phone sample presentation to customers. The test and evaluation is made in the form of the project team. One project team consists of above two members, each of whom is required to test the whole version. The test time of one software version is classified as one week, three days and two days based on the different test levels. The test project includes the conventional test, automatic test, pressure test, etc.
4. Field Test
The field test is mainly intended to investigate the compatibility of cell phones to local networks. At the beginning of one project, the field test focuses on the adaptability of stacks to networks in all cases; at the late stage of one project, the field test is mainly intended to investigate the performance of aerials, and the compatibilities of cell phone software to the networks in all cases.
5. Reliability Test
The reliability test mainly includes the followings:
